Wood box with Chocolates
Quibor Artisan Woodbox with Franceschi Dark Chocolates
A work of 80 pieces of special wood assembled with the demanding technique of inlaying that was started approximately 3000 years ago in Mesopotamia. Over the years, and because of the rigorous process, the technique is only used in a few remote locations today.
The folk craftsman Henry Mendoza has handcrafted each box resulting in every box being unique in design. He is one of the most recognized experts on inlaying in Venezuela. For him, creating each box is a demanding process that he can overlook due to his passion and love for the craft.
Manufactured by Franceschi Chocolate, this wooden box is a unique piece that holds fine chocolates made from selections of ancestral Venezuelan cacao of Trinitarian Origin that combines the aromas, textures and flavors from the different regions of Venezuela.
Various pieces of Franceschi Chocolates's portfolio have been recognized for several consecutive years by the International Chocolate Awards, in the Plain/Origin Dark Chocolate Bars category.
Franceschi Chocolates, with the help and the effort of an extensive network of cocoa enthusiasts, not only preserved one of the most beautiful traditions of our country for more than 185 years but also cultivated relationships with artisans and artists who express their culture and traditions at the highest level.
